Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students in my classrooms face many challenges. I teach a diverse population. Most of my students have a learning challenge due to the fact that they are English Language Learners, have learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, ED, autism, speech.
We have foster children as well as students coming from single-parent households or living with relatives.
One common factor is that most of these students who have experienced difficulty or failure in school tend to divert attention from their academic struggles or failure in school.
My Project
In order to maximize our time and learning, I need an HP printer and black and color toner so I am able to print, copy and scan items quickly. This basic printer will allow me to print, copy and scan documents, lessons, and activities as well as weekly newsletters without missing a beat of classroom instruction. This printer will allow me to make the most of my classroom by creating a classroom that has the essentials! With COVID-19 so many things are uncertain, but the one thing that is certain is that I am working hard to be prepared for an amazing year of learning with my 3rd-grade scholars.
