Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach a second-grade bilingual class, and they have grown to love books as much as I do. They love our classroom library and enjoy checking out different books every chance they get. From time to time, they find a certain book they like and want more of it. Owl Diaries and Bad Guys are two that have stood out recently.
I would love for you to help me surprise them with collections of both Spanish and English so I can continue to foster that love of reading.
Every time I introduce a new book and bring it into the classroom, the excitement in their eyes brings joy to my heart.
