Help me give my students more opportunities to read nonfiction books that they are interested in! We also would like to include more art projects in our History class so we need your help.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is intended to continue to grow our classroom library. It is hard to get students engaged in non fiction reading. The best way to do this is to incorporate more Who Was? What Was? books into the classroom! The students are engaged and learn about important figures in society.
The scissors, markers, and clay will all contribute to making our History class much more exciting!
Students do not want to read from a book every day. They want to incorporate art projects as well and give them a chance to learn through creativity.
