My Project
We are requesting a rolling and locking bookcase for our classroom to secure materials and to increase the ability to move classroom materials around to students, as needed.
When working with students with special needs such as autism, sometimes you need to take instruction to them instead of bringing them to the instruction.
This rolling bookcase will allow our special education teachers to move instructional materials and student materials, to a variety of locations, and keep them secure and safe when moving them. A small rolling cart does not hold enough materials but a rolling, closing and locking bookcase would allow us to mobilize work systems, student work binders and break items throughout the school. This will enable us to reach the students where they are.
