Keep Our Pocket Chart And Spirits From Falling Down!
My students need a pocket chart stand, Musical Instrument Bingo and a Yosemite Sam's Music Game.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Nelson's classroom raised $149
This project is fully funded
We are a public elementary school in New York City with a large population that is culturally diverse and of low socioeconomic status. Our school has a very healthy music program that includes: band, chorus, violin, keyboard, guitar and percussion ensembles in addition to a strong music curriculum.
We have a pocket chart in our auditorium/band rehearsal space where we keep track of our weekly classroom duties. However, it is on a stand that is falling apart and we are constantly putting it back together. In addition, we lack the resources to buy fun music games to expand upon our students' musical skills.
This proposal will provide us with a new stand for our pocket chart. Also, we will acquire a couple of great games that will not only be exciting for students, but also help to reinforce their musical knowledge.
Having the opportunity to become a musician is a gift that these children cherish. They stand a little taller and smile a little brighter when they join band, as it increases their self-esteem, discipline and enthusiasm for school. Your influence will empower students with the gift of music for years to come. Please consider making a donation to this endeavor today!
