This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is getting ready for a brand new school year, and we're working hard to create a space where every student can focus, grow, and stay organized. One item we truly need is a Belkin Charging Station for Laptops. With a classroom full of eager second graders using laptops daily, it’s a challenge to keep our devices charged and safely stored.

The charging stations will make a big difference in our learning routine.

They will keep all laptops charged in one central place, prevent messy cords and clutter, and help students take responsibility for returning and plugging in their devices. They also includes surge protection, which gives me peace of mind knowing our technology is safe.

My goal is to build a learning environment where students feel confident, independent, and ready to use technology to explore, read, and create. These second graders are curious learners who love using digital tools to complete projects, research new topics, and build reading fluency.

Many of my students don’t have access to technology at home, so every minute with their laptops counts. This charging station will help us keep everything running smoothly and support their learning in a big way. Thank you for helping us kick off the 2025-2026 school year with the tools we need!
