Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

As the seasons transition and temperatures fluctuate, it's important to keep our little learners cozy and warm.

Many of our EL students come from households where resources are limited, and access to warm clothing may be scarce.

By providing sweatshirts for our kindergarteners, we're ensuring that they stay snug and focused on their studies, even on chilly days. Plus, a cozy sweatshirt isn't just a practical necessity—it's a source of comfort and security that can help our students feel more at home in their classroom environment.

We're also aiming to provide a stash of spare clothing that will give our students the assurance and dignity they need to tackle any unexpected challenges. By offering these essentials, we're not just keeping them dry and comfortable; we're also fostering a supportive and nurturing environment where accidents are met with understanding and compassion.
