My Students

I work in a low-income, 100% free lunch and breakfast school. All of the students in my classroom are faced with obstacles in and outside of the classroom. I hope my classroom is a place they can come to feel safe, important and loved while they learn skills they will use throughout their lives.

In our school, we are working to provide the safest environment possible for our students.

Our school provides students with a happy, loving, learning environment where they are excited to come and learn each day. We strive to keep the students engaged in learning in each classroom of our building.

My Project

Students need to know they are safe at school. Students come to school to learn and that is what should be on their mind. The Barracuda Intruder Defense System will be an extra defense mechanism to keep my young students safe while they are at school.

In order to learn effectively, students need to know that they are being protected while they are at school.

This system is easily and quickly installed and keeps the intruder from being able to open the door easily. It would also keep unwanted items from being put under the door in the event of an intruder in the school.
