My Students

There's no better way to teach science and get students excited about learning, than by conducting hands-on experiments. But with experiments come risks, we are in need of a way to quickly and effectively sanitize our safety goggles.

We have over 700 students, kindergarten through fifth grade, that attend our school.

We have set up a Science Lab in our school that teachers can utilize with their students to conduct hands-on science experiments. Classes rotate through the lab each day. The students love the experiments and activities they do in the Science Lab and are becoming more excited about science each day. With the large number of students rotating through the lab, we need a quick and effective way to sanitize the safety goggles.

My Project

Students are often reluctant to wear the goggles. They are either worried about who wore them last and if they are clean, or if the goggles were recently washed they don't want to put on goggles that are wet. The goggle sanitizer will allow us to quickly sanitize the goggles without the mess and time required to wash them in the sink. Students will no longer be reluctant to wear the protective safety goggles and their eyes will remain healthy and free from injury and contamination.
