This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 6th grade mathematicians are inquisitive, energetic, and always ready to tackle new challenges. They thrive in a learning space that is clean, organized, and welcoming. A safe and healthy environment helps them stay focused and feel valued.

To keep our classroom clean and reduce the spread of germs, I’m requesting Clorox disinfecting wipes.

These will help us regularly sanitize desks, shared materials, and high-touch surfaces, especially during cold and flu season.

In a busy math classroom, we’re constantly rotating between notebooks, dry-erase boards, manipulatives, and group work. With Clorox wipes on hand, we can maintain a healthier space for everyone and cut down on absences due to illness. More time in class means more learning, more progress, and more math success!

A clean classroom helps my students stay healthy and focused, and it reinforces habits of responsibility and care for shared spaces. These wipes may be a basic supply, but they support a learning environment where every student feels comfortable and safe.
