My Students

I have had the pleasure of working with my current band students for about 4 1/2 years now. We have a middle school band of 6th and 7th graders that are just finding there way musically. I also have a concert band of 8th-12th graders that are constantly working to improve their music skills. We are a small band but we work hard to not let that be a weakness.

My Project

I believe that all students should have the option to take part in music education. For some students the cost of materials can keep them from pursuing a music education. I like to try and provide the basic music supplies that I can so that the burden of the cost doesn't fall on the student. This is a project I typically do once or twice a year to help keep our basic need in our students hand free of charge. Currently we are in need of percussion equipment and clarinet reeds. We want to help all students be a part of our band.
