Keep On Planting!

Help me give my students potting mix, planter pots and seeds to continue to add to our raised bed garden.

My Project

We have been planting like crazy in our greenhouse so that we have plants to add to our raised bed garden, but we ran out of seed starting mix and need to make more. We have planted eggplant, flowers, herbs and lots of other seeds. But our seed starting mix is not doing so great so we need to add some perlite to give it drainage. Hopefully this will make our seeds grow bigger and stronger and we can have more food growing in our garden.

My students are amazed at how much food we can grow in our raised beds, and they are excited to be able to plant more.

Having these planting supplies will enable us to plant, harvest, cook and eat more food from the garden. Everyday is a learning process for us in the garden to make sure our plants are getting the best growing conditions we can provide. My students learn how to problem solve and use various potting supplies to find out what works best. We can't wait to grow these sunflowers for the garden and the microgreens for the chickens.
