My Students
1st and 2nd graders are energetic, enthusiastic, and super social. They are so enjoyable to be around. They love being involved in the learning process and want to succeed. Our goal as a classroom is that we enter the classroom each day ready to try new things and to be brave to make mistakes. Mistakes lead to learning. As a teacher in an impoverished urban area, we struggle to have access to resources needed to provide a quality 21st century. My goal is to provide an equitable education for each student in our classroom.
I teach eager and enthusiastic students who need these resources to reach their full potential.
As the school year continues to be virtual, I will need more resources to support learning at home.
My Project
With the current pandemic, we continue to learn virtually. As a classroom teacher, I want to provide extra resources that can support online instruction and practice at home. Each item has purpose and intention to support learning.
Each day, I am realizing more that my students need the basics to keep their learning going.
They need colored pencils, notebooks, a pencil sharper, and other items to keep this virtual learning journey going. The students in room 128 have been doing well this school year even with the current circumstances. They are one amazing group of students.
