Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for a mini fridge, power strips, a sharpener and storage utility carts. I regularly bring snacks for the students so that they can do their best work without being hungry. They, too, bring in snacks from home to share with the class. Unfortunately, leftover food gets thrown away because we have no way to store it safely.

A fridge would allow us to store left over snacks and breakfast foods so students could eat them later.

The mini fridge will provide a convenient way to store perishable snacks and lunches, ensuring that items like yogurt, cheese, and fresh fruit remain fresh until lunchtime. This makes a mini fridge a practical necessity for our students' health and well-being.

The power strips are to allow our various devices to have a designated charging area. The sharpener is to replace our current one which has finally broken down after a year of much use. The utility carts are to provide much needed storage throughout the classroom.

Overall, having a mini fridge and these other items in the classroom can contribute to a more comfortable, accommodating, and efficient learning environment.
