My Students
My students are very diverse and come from varied multicultural backgrounds. School is their place to explore and be creative.
I help my students to understand the concept of YET.
They may not know a lot yet, but they will! We learn about perseverance. If they keep trying they can beat the odds and achieve their goals and dreams. They may be only 5 and 6 but they have big dreams. My hope is to help build self-confidence and to help them get the educational foundation they need.
My Project
ESGI is an online progress monitoring system for teachers, especially Kindergarten. In Kindergarten we have so many things to keep track of and test, ABC's, sounds, sight words, not to mention all of the math standards. ESGI allows you to create your own assessments or just use ones already created. It tracks all progress so when it comes time to meet with parents or fill out report cards all of the information for each student is right there at the tips of your fingers. It is capable of running several different reports. It can graph which items you made need to reteach or go over again for better understanding. It can create parent letters in a variety of languages so all parents can see where their child is.
