Hello! I teach a variety of students with emotional and behavioral needs. I have done some research on tools and strategies that will help them calm themselves down when having overwhelming emotions.
I would like to make a dedicated calm down corner where the students can go to feel safe.
These tools will help them find that safe space and will give them reminders and outlets to use their emotions. I asked for posters and decorations to help them feel happy and to list breathing exercises. I also asked for a few calming tools that they can use as they practice how to regulate their emotions.
Any help you can provide toward our project would be extremely helpful!! :)
