The children in my classroom are between the ages of 3 and 6 years old.

Our classroom is an integrated setting, with a mix of both typically developing and special needs children. Each one of my students is loving, compassionate, and caring and eager to learn. The preschool students at our school have the most spirit for learning I have ever seen, each day they come into the classroom with smiles and excitement ready to start the day.

My Project

We are requesting donations to fund the purchase of a sensory table for our classroom. Sensory tables include any activity that stimulates a young child’s senses: touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing. Sensory activities and sensory tables facilitate exploration and naturally encourage children to use scientific processes while they play, create, investigate and explore. Spending time stimulating their senses helps children develop cognitively, linguistically, socially and emotionally, physically and creatively. Any donation towards the purchase of a sensory table will improve the children's access to hands-on learning in our classroom. This project will enhance our classroom and provide many more opportunities for students to learn.

With your support, our students will have an opportunity to use the sensory table as a way to experiment with math and science concepts, strengthen their physical skills, advance their social and emotional skills, and enhance language development. All while having a lot of fun! Please help us bring these experiences to our preschoolers. Thank you for considering our project!
