My Project

A calming corner in my classroom would be very beneficial. My third grade students can spend a few rejuvenating minutes in the calming corner when learning gets tough. I want to provide a safe and cozy space that will give my students the opportunity to regroup.

A calming corner will provide a space for social and emotional care and growth.

Students learn best when they feel good. Having a space with fidgets, soft rugs and pillows and books about self regulation gives kids a place to regroup so they can do their best learning.
