My Project
My students are all ages 3-5 and have developmental delays. A couple areas they struggle is with social/emotional behavior as well as gross motor skills. They need extra support in these areas, which is why I choose some items such as calming down activities, wighted stuffed animals, wiggle cushions, and P.E equipment so they can work on these skills. Teachers in my district don't get any money to spend in our classrooms, just the basic necessities like pencils and paper. So in order to get the items my students require, I have to buy these items from my pocket.
My little students can use these sensory/calming down materials and PE equipment to work on necessary skills in a healthy, fun way!
My preschool students the last couple of years would have loved these items to help them stay focused on learning in the classroom!
