This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Adjusting back to school after Omicron recovery has not been easy as students have missed days of instruction and social interactions between peers and teacher. The slime, playdough, and puppets will help my students relax their bodies and mind as they adjust to the long school day without their parents. The timer will keep my students accountable for putting away their sensory items and focus on class tasks. The drawer bins will keep their items organized and germ free from other peers.

Items will be used to help students cope with stressful situations during the class day.
