My girls are excited to play. We are seeing growth in volleyball when a lot of teams are seeing declining numbers. We need to provide these girls with all of the equipment we need.
This year we had 72 girls signed up for 7th grade through varsity volleyball.
This number is up from the years past. Our girls are excited to play and learn. This past year through generous donors on Donors Choose we were able to purchase 40 new balls, but 40 does not give everyone a ball, so we are still using many 15 year old balls that are worn and barely holding air.
My Project
Each year we fundraise and attempt to raise enough money for all of the items we need, but it never seems to get everything we need. I truly believe that the more we invest in our girls, the more they will invest in volleyball and in turn they will enjoy the game and enjoy playing more. At the end of the day I want my players to know that I care about them and appreciate them. I want them to love volleyball as much as I do.
Your donations will provide not only one team with balls, but five different teams with balls.
Not only are these balls a material item, but these balls will raise excitement in every day play and change the attitude of every player.
