My students need art supplies such as construction paper, card stock, and colored pencils to stock the art center in our classroom.

My Students
Do you remember how exciting it was to create art projects in your elementary classroom! Nowadays art is often the first thing to go with all of the budget cuts being made. Art is used in our classroom as an engaging form of instruction that the students thrive with.
Next year I will be teaching twenty four third grade students.
They attend a small, rural school in western New York state. The students in our school district come to school everyday eager to learn and excited to see what the day has in store for them. I have found that all of my students have a love for art that helps them deepen their understanding of the curriculum.
My Project
I am requesting construction paper, card stock, and colored pencils to help stock the art center in our classroom. We need these materials to use during units of study in which art projects are included to engage the students and enhance their learning. With these resources students will be able to enjoy art in the classroom as previous generations have been able to do.
Your donation will have an immediate impact on my classroom and students.
These materials will make it possible for my students to continue to experience art in the classroom and in return enhance their learning experience.
