Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific arts and crafts supplies I’m requesting, such as colored paper, markers, construction paper, and yarn, will allow my students to engage with projects in a hands-on, creative way. These tools make learning more interactive and enjoyable, especially in language lessons, where students can create visual representations of vocabulary, design cultural projects, and work on collaborative art activities that reinforce their understanding. Meanwhile, the organizational tools—such as bins, trays, and shelving—will help keep our classroom neat and accessible, so students can easily find and manage their materials. This organization fosters independence and responsibility, helping them stay focused and efficient in their work.

My goal for this project is to provide an environment where students can freely explore, create, and organize their learning space.

I want them to feel inspired and excited about coming to class each day. By giving them the tools to create and the structure to succeed, I hope to instill a love for learning that goes beyond the classroom.

My students are special because they are curious, resilient, and bring a unique diversity of perspectives and cultural backgrounds to our classroom. They are eager to learn about the world around them and, with the right resources, I know they can achieve amazing things. Their enthusiasm is contagious, and with your support, I’m thrilled to nurture their talents and curiosity. Thank you for helping make this possible!
