Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Kaplan Early Learning has been around for years offering materials to help children grow up to be kind, smart, and creative. If you look at their materials they are all wonderful resources for students in kindergarten through second grade. I have been teaching over 40 years and have used materials from this company primarily in centers. They can read, use games, build with STEM materials, as well as learn to read and write with items offered. Everything is carefully and skillfully made for years of use and enjoyment. I do centers twice a week and would love to incorporate these games, hands-on materials, and other items in my four centers to build skills and improve fluency. We’ll also appreciate some snacks to go with our daily recess/playtime, and this project will keep us going with that for a few weeks! Thank you!
