My Project

I am a PE teacher at and teach students in grade levels from 2nd through 6th. I am always researching for fun games and best practices that can reach this variety of grade levels. One skill that we work on each year is throwing and catching different objects; a favorite one is a frisbee!

Kan Jam is a game that reaches a variety of grade levels and abilities.

It focuses on the skill of catching and throwing a frisbee. Teams of two players take turns tossing a frisbee between two plastic cans. Points are scored when the frisbee hits or is deflected into one of the cans.

I am so excited to introduce this game to my students this year!
