This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are always happy and eager to learn. Being part of a school that is multicultural, provides the Spanish teachers and I with many opportunities to teach these sweet little people about others and the world around them. As their Fine Arts teachers, we foster that spirit through music, dance, and celebrating Hispanic culture.

The Mexican costumes we are asking for in this project visually represent the Hispanic culture and traditions.

By including authenticity in our Fine Arts Exhibit, we will have another way to model respect towards the Hispanic culture.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
