My Students

Our classroom day is extremely busy. As soon as the students enter our room they are eager to learn. The kindergarteners enter school without knowing letters, sounds, math, and science concepts. It's amazing to watch them grow academically.

My students are in a kindergarten through fifth grade school.

My students mostly speak English and Spanish. My students enjoy reading, writing, and learning about the world around them. Our school places a big emphasis on respect, integrity, and kindness.

My Project

My students will be learning about the life cycle of butterflies in the spring. The butterfly kit will give the students the opportunity to see each stage emerge before their eyes. We will be planting seeds in the greenhouses. The students will watch the roots and plants grow out of the seeds. We will be using the paint and construction paper to create projects in all curriculum areas. We need a new calendar to help us learn how to read the date, weather, and days of the week. We also need art materials to create projects for each subject.

Please help bring Science and Arts back into our classroom.

These students need to learn by observing and using hands on techniques. I want to bring some fun back into classrooms where children will be eager to learn!
