This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I love working in a small rural school district in the Arkansas delta. Everyone feels like a big family. Unfortunately, we are one of the highest poverty school districts in the state. Our district is in the 100% free and reduced lunch program. Families often have 2 or more students in school and struggle to provide the needed supplies for a successful school year. These supplies are things students use daily and are vital to their learning and keeping our classrooms healthy as well. Please help us provide for our students and lessen some of the financial burdens on our families.
