Help me give my students the supplies they need for all letter crafting throughout the year! We do a craft for each letter of the alphabet to help with understanding the letters and sounds!

My Project

When learning about anything kids remember best when getting their hands dirty! By creating an animal/food/or object to go along with a letter/sound the students can visualize the sound being made. We will use the supplies to create a project each day to go along with our letter or sound of the day! We will also use the supplies for holiday crafts and extra earned free time. We do not have art in our school so I am trying to bring in as much art as I can within my classroom. Some examples of crafts I have planned are:

Animal Popsicle sticks- Each animal will go along with our letter of the day.

Example: H-Horse popsicle stick. A-Airplane Popsicle stick craft. Make a Pete the Cat character after reading the books. Rainbows to learn about the colors.

Paper Plates: Rainbow Fish craft after reading the book, leprechaun beard for St. Patrick's day, Christmas trees for the holidays, Turkey plate, thankful tree plate,
