This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
No more excuses! As a teacher, I hear different and creative excuses as to why the reading and art projects aren't submitted. With this project, I want to eliminate all possible excuses and move on to obtain 100% work from all of my students. All of my students come from low-income families and can not afford to buy basic note-taking supplies or crayons and other art supplies needed for our reading elective. I want my students to come to class and be proud of their work because it will be nice and neat. I will provide them with post-its, crayons and pencils to complete their work.
