My Project

I love working with students on their writing skills. We begin with oral storytelling and then put that story to paper. Having short pencils are just right for the youngest students I work with. We practice many word skills using dry-erase boards, so having lots of dry-erase markers is essential to our learning. Those are also great for working through problems in math. In math, I support students with the academic language of math. The whiteboards will be perfect for practicing math vocabulary of before, after, add, and subtract. Highlighters are used for a lot of skills from finding the main idea, vocabulary words, or important information in a story problem.

Every student deserves to have a pencil.

Working with various groups of students at all levels requires me to be very organized. The plastic storage containers and folders keep all our manipulatives organized and ready to use.
