This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"It's not about what it is; it is about what it can become."
Dr. Seuss.
I have the pleasure of working with outstanding children. They come to school prepared to learn and try their best every day. I teach in a Title I school with a high population of non-native English speakers. Our school is located in a low-income area, with most students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. I focus on the potential and growth of the children in my room. That growth is measured in student joy and love for learning, and their engagement in classroom activities!
My Project
As a teacher, I want to provide my students with the best education possible. Each year I try to accommodate those students who can not sit all day in a hard chair. However, achieving this goal leaves students with no surface to write on. I would love help getting needed clipboards in the hands of my students.
I want my students to be successful, but they must have the necessary supplies to achieve this.
For this project, I am requesting clipboards and a stand for storage. The clipboards will be used during writing while practicing math facts, and for students to practice high-frequency words.
Please help us acquire clipboards to start the school year off right. A classroom environment that has the tools needed for learning will lead to a successful school year!
