This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My fifth grade students are today's scholars and tomorrow's leaders who are curious, enthusiastic, creative, and eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge! In addition to academics, our students practice making positive human connections with daily choices that support R.I.S.E.—Respect, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence, and they are recognized monthly for demonstrating these character traits.

Every classroom needs basic essentials to support students with their success and to create an environment where all can thrive.

I am requesting highlighters, folders, pencil sharpeners, and clipboards to create an environment that is conducive to learning with resources to motivate students to be their best both academically and behaviorally.

Thank you very much for your consideration and kindness in bringing “Just the Basics, Please” to life for our fifth graders. We are extremely appreciative!
