Help me give my students the supplies to thrive this year as last year was been tough, so let's make it a little easier.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Wood's classroom raised $420

My Students
My students are big-hearted and funny dreamers, and they are likely the most creative minds you will ever meet. All of the students qualify for free lunch; we are a Title I school. They are a happy group of third graders who love school and love to learn.
My students' economic situations are very dire; we are located on a Indian Reservation.
The students try their hardest even when the odds are all stacked up against them. They are a group of kids who won't give up and always come with a smile on their faces. They try to do all they can with the very little that they have. It is so rewarding to teach, whether I am helping a gifted student learn or helping a student who is many grades behind or anything in between. I feel like I have the best job ever!
My Project
I work at FHE. We are a Title I school and all of our students are in the very low income range. I have students that can't afford any of the needed supplies needed to succeed in the school year. I know that through the help of generous donors we can see the smiles come to their faces as they receive their very own school supplies. I am wanting to bring art into the classroom more, and to do this I need to have the items available to help the kids grow. Art is a great out for the students and it also helps help work through the problems at home and life. I would love to bring the art into math to help them see the patterns in shapes as they learn to draw them in everyday objects. But I would also love to help them also to bring the stories alive that we read as they draw what they read. I know that this will be one of the biggest helps that I can have in my students learning. So thank you in advance for helping me change the way students look at the everyday items.
