My Project

This project gives students books at their level without the fear of their peers seeing them read lower-level texts. In middle school, it is hard to find books just right for students, as many students become self-aware of how others perceive them.

The books listed in this project are lower-level books that look age-appropriate for most 5th graders.

Books like Hilida Cracks the Case, or Pixie Tricks offer that age-appropriate appearance but are at a lower level. These books will allow my students to grow as readers and feel comfortable with what they are reading.

Mrs. Burns will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 14.
