My Project
I teach kindergarten in a Title One school in Chicago. One hundred percent of my 26 students receive free breakfast and lunch at school. We don't have much, but we appreciate what we have. We are all learning to be respectful and careful with our classroom supplies (in kindergarten this is very hard!). My students never complain and they love to learn. They come to school with bright smiles and so many questions.
At this time I only have a small preschool art easel to hold our classroom big books.
If I place the easel on the floor, the last row of students on our carpet cannot see the big book I am reading. If I place the easel on a table to make it higher, the first two rows of students on the carpet cannot see the big book.
