This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students next school year will be eager first-grade learners, among the 95% of students in our Title I school who are eligible for free and reduced-price lunch.
My students need notebooks, notebooks, notebooks!
Why so many you ask . . . My students do lots of writing during the day. We need a Writer's Workshop notebook for their amazing stories, an English Language Development notebook to practice their second language, and a Social Emotional notebook to write and draw about our school-wide practices: Empathy, Flexibility, Optimism, Persistence, Resilience, and Gratitude. The composition notebooks are nice and sturdy for all of their writing. With your donation, my students will have all of the notebooks they need for the whole school year.
