This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are very energetic and as young as they are, they have a big appetite for learning. Adding new materials to our classroom will help develop much needed language, social skills, mathematical thinking, exploration, as well as problem solving. Our dramatic play area needs a new kitchen and sofa. This furniture will be a great addition to help us create a cozy home-like environment where our children can use their imaginations and share experiences, from their home life.
Children love exploring and these new materials will help create meaningful experiences as they solve real life scenarios while playing.
I am lucky to have an amazing group of children, whose little minds are eager to learn something new every day. As their classroom teacher, I want to create a fun and inviting learning environment for my students and they will be ecstatic to have a new kitchen, where they can make meals for their friends as they talk about things they enjoy doing together.
