This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Wow, what an amazing class of students I have this year. I am so proud of what hard workers they are. It has been amazing to watch how much growth they have made academically and emotionally this year. I am happy to share that as a class, they have read over 607 independent books. While I started the year with many reluctant readers, once we found a book that was of interest to them, they were hooked.
This project will refresh my classroom library with some new copies of books that have been well-loved and read.
I have also included a few books that I do not have yet in our classroom library.
