This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students

I am a Transitional Kindergarten Teacher.
Our school is located in California. Most of my students are Latinos. My students are the youngest children in Kindergarten, and they are so eager to learn, and wouldn't it be nice if they can experience fun, kid-friendly activities while they move and play?
My Project
This school year I was able to get art materials for my Transitional Kindergarten classroom, but unfortunately we were not able to get any physical education games. My students need nature stilts, hoops, bowling set and a beanbag learning center so they can learn through play. Learning through play is the most effective way to learn, especially at such an early age of 4-5 years of age.
These materials are very important to us, because without them our "TK" students will not fully experience what physical education in a fun, creative way.
So I'm begging for your support so our project gets funded and my students can have a great Transitional Kindergarten school year.
