My Students
Our students are brilliant scholars who are preparing to be college graduates. The mission of our school is "to prepare 100% of students for college acceptance and graduation through a preK to 12 superhighway which cultivates culturally aware critical thinkers and leaders."
Our school's values are scholarship, leadership, excellence, and grit, and our students reflect those values everyday.
My Project
My students love to have community building time. Often times this looks like us pushing desks together or making a huddle on the floor and playing a game. We enjoy having time dedicated for fun and games in class.
It's also important for our students to learn what healthy competition looks and feels like.
I've asked my students to think of board games and book titles they would like to have access to in the classroom. This is something we are doing entirely for fun, because school SHOULD be about fun, too!
