Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students next school year will be eager first-grade learners, among the 95% of students in our Title I school who are eligible for free and reduced-price lunch.
There are so many things to organize as a first grader!
I try and teach my students how to be responsible and organize their work . . . Black folders for in-class work, blue folders for their reading passages, and red folders for their homework. So far this method has worked very well and students have taken more responsibility in the organization of their work.
With your donation, my students next school year will have what they need to keep their work nice and organized for the whole school year.
