My Project

I teach in a self contained classroom and I noticed how the heat in our classroom affects my students' temperaments. Our room and students get the afternoon sun and it's been pretty rough for everyone in the class to stay comfortable especially during the past heat waves.

I want my students to be comfortable inside the classroom and so I think having an air conditioning unit will help them achieve this.

I would also like to get a couple of other miscellaneous items for my students--toy storage boxes, essential oil diffuser and a label maker.

DonorsChoose has helped me provide safe classrooms since I began teaching in the district. Being an immigrant teacher has been somewhat of an obstacle because quality classroom supplies are normally not cheap. I am hopeful that I may once again receive help in my current aims for our class!
