Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our student population is diverse and determined. These students strive for greatness, despite the challenges of coming from low-income/high poverty circumstances.
As a campus, we promote STEM activities to prepare students for the demands of college and career pathways.
We have several programs on campus to help refine these skill sets such as AVID, AP and IB classes as well as after-school opportunities.
Our new motto is Rattlers RISE - we as a campus have committed to rising up above all adversity and choose success.
My Project
Our school recently lost its digital recording studio due to budget cuts. In an attempt to save our daily video announcements - students have signed up to take on the challenge of creating videos themselves!
We need you to help us with the LIGHTS, CAMERA and we will handle the ACTION!
This special group of students will be writing, filming and editing their own videos to play every morning. Students will be expanding the program to include weather, campus news and sports!
These materials will enable to students to create a professional product that they can be proud of! We appreciate all of your support!
