This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love my students! My students are the reason why I love teaching. They walk into our classroom every single day with a smile on their face. They are always eager to start the day. I always ask them, "Who is the best class?" and they reply, "We are!" I have always let them know that I believe they are capable of doing anything they want. Despite so many hardships, my students come to class every day and are eager to learn and do their best.

My Project

My students need to learn about the immigration experience and how they all got to the United States.

A lot of my students and the entire school are or have families and friends that have immigrated from another country.

The chromebooks will help them research and watch videos about the topic. They will be able to complete the projects related to their family history.

The chromebooks will help those students that are English language learners because they will be able to easily translate anything difficult. They will be beneficial to all my students as the chromebooks can be used to differentiate to all.
