My students need a table to hold our two classroom computers.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Kessler's classroom raised $238

My Students
Back in the day, large computers were bolted down to the table I have in my classroom. Since then, newer computers have been added but the trays the old units were attached to cannot be removed without destroying the table itself.
My class consists of 25 first graders, all ready to learn even with the challenges they face.
Half are English language learners, some live in homeless shelters, but all want to learn! Our school qualifies for free lunch for all its students. Our inner city neighborhood is a rough place to live in and the school is a refuge for many of the children.
My Project
Imagine getting your chance to use the computers and sitting at a beautiful red table where there is room to type without bumping into the person next to you! Due to the placement of old bolted-down trays, the computers cannot be moved at our present table and are in a cramped position. Two children can share each computer if I can spread them out, allowing for twice as much computer time.
The only time most of the children in my class get to use a computer is in the classroom as many of their families do not have personal home computers.
Please help them with this resource that children at more affluent schools take for granted. Thank you so much.
