This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My Kindergarten students are very excitable. We spend our days learning to read, write, and count, but also how to love, respect and share. We work on ELA, math, science and social studies daily. We are going to master reading!
They love to learn and can make an adventure of mostly anything!
We cherish our memorable moments, such as the hands-on experiences and edible experiments. I am not afraid to laugh or be laughed at and this connection of laughter keeps us close.
We are in an area that needs a lot of attention. The children need the attention, the love and the opportunity to succeed in the most imaginable way ever!
My Project
Students need to play as much as they learn. I do not wish to only excite the children through the use of technology in the classroom but also with hands on materials that may get messy but are sure to excite them.
Painting frees the mind and allows the students to express themselves through color and a flick of the wrist.
I am trying to give my students the opportunity to paint with quality materials such as the requested canvases.
The children can experience real paint brushes and not the ones that will snap in their hands. My goal is for the class to express themselves using paint and glitter to the point of pure pride in their painted work of art!
