My Students

I have the honor of being the first 6th grade teacher on a junior high campus. They come from diverse schools and educational abilities.

My children need more one on one instruction in order to be successful.

I have 30 children per class and I am wanting to do stations so I can have smaller group instruction.

My children really want to learn, and I want to give them every opportunity to be as successful as everyone else in the district.

My Project

Have you ever just wanted to see that video one more time but the teacher needs to move on? Have you ever pretended to understand just so the other kids wouldn't know you didn't? A lot of learning comes from the internet and if the kids had working computers and headphones, they could see the material as many times as they need in order to master the content.

My students come from diverse backgrounds and some just need to hear the material multiple times in order to understand.

With two more working computers and a set of headphones, they can take ownership of their learning. They will be able to practice as many times as needed to master the content.
