This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project is all about classroom culture. The items are classroom incentives and fun dinosaur decorations. Your generous support can make a significant difference in the lives of our special learners.

Motivation, incentives, a sense of belonging, and reducing stress are all crucial factors that contribute to a positive and effective learning environment in a classroom.

This variety of items will be used as classroom incentives/rewards for my 7th graders. For example. I see a piece of trash during cleanup, the student who picks up that piece of garbage gets a prize/reward from the bucket. This technique gets everyone picking up all they can to hopefully win.

The dinosaur wall decals will be used to decorate my science lab making it fun, welcoming, and exciting to go into.

These items will help my students with motivation and encouragement. Classroom incentives can be stickers, bouncy balls, pencils, and other small rewards. These tokens of recognition will motivate our students to participate actively, excel in their studies, and exhibit exemplary behavior, fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere.

A well-decorated classroom creates a welcoming and inclusive environment. A well-decorated and organized classroom has a calming effect on students, reducing stress and anxiety levels. Incentives and decorations that promote positive behaviors and attitudes build a positive classroom culture.
