My Project

Curious minds are everywhere! Today's young learners are curious about their world. My students love to explore the world but need the tools to do so.

Many students come from challenging homes with parents who struggle financially.

My preschool students are curious, willing learners who come to school with a smile every day. These young scholars can't wait to learn about the world and how it works, they don't let the challenges of home stop them.

If we are able to get the resources we need, they can use the magnifying glasses to look closely at objects and see details that they wouldn't normally see. We will be able to explore the animals that are in the parks around us, magnets, rocks and loose parts with the magnifying glasses we have in the classroom. We will also be able to grown a cactus garden to help us learn how to take care of the things in our environment.

The students in my classroom don't typically get the same experiences as many students since many come from families that suffer financial hardships and broken homes.

The students should be given every opportunity to explore and learn. These tools will keep them interested in science and help them discover new wonders and interests. It will give them the background knowledge they need to be future scientists, doctors, and engineers.
